Another week passed and I honestly do not remember what on Earth I have been doing. Except for painting a little on some UFOs both in acrylic paint and watercolour.

I been out walking one evening (pictures here) I mention it because it is not an usual action for me, yet!

I have been watching a lot of movies, trying to find new inspiration, oh, reading books is one of my favourites too. 1½ book from last Wednesday.

I forgot to take a photo of some of the images before I start to finish it and I forgot to take a photo of after I finish it. The Tree image is made with watercolour. A long time ago I made a cover for a book was done, but I never made anything more for it.

Sorry I haven’t had the time to go to your blogs and make comment!!

Thank you for your visit.

Have a Happy WOYWW!!

  1. Well, that is a lovely watercolour you are showing us on your blog this morning. Glad you are getting out walking, now I just have to look to see where it is you live and then I can envisage you walking out.
Enjoy your crafting times and stay safe and well

    1. Hugs back, Neet – Thank you for your sweet comment. I am living in a neighborhood of Copenhagen, we have a lots of parks and areas with bungalows, villa and small mansions.

  2. Actually, those pictures suggest that you’ve been quite busy! I love the way you build up the background before ou add the face and hair to the portrait, I never really thought about the ‘order’ in which one paints! I love the doodle with your name in it too, that’s lovely. AS for the book cover…its only 2 years since you made it, plenty of time to move forward with the insides!!

    1. Thanks a bunch, Julia.
Oh Ok – 2 years are not that long, lol. I think it was by a mistake I started to build up the portrait in that way. Or I might have seen it down the row of the years on YouTube. As you see I have a lot of interests, in a different kind of media.
      Thank you again !!!

  3. You have been busy Mariane, much more than me! I love your painting and especially the zentangle doodle with your name in. The splash of yellow is lovely!!

    1. Thank you so much, Jan – Yeah I love the zentangled sometimes and did make my own tutorial on Facebook a few years ago. It is all closed now.

  4. Morning Mariane. You have been really busy this week – well done on the paintings – something I have yet to really try… Maybe, if lockdown continues much longer I will get around to trying that, too. My hubby was the painter – his work was so beautiful. I like the little shape with your name in it – a lovely way to sign off your blog. Thanks for your visit and your comments. I don’t know Denmark – haven’t been, but I am sure it is lovely indeed. Britain has so many faces – Scotland is so different from England, and England so different from Wales… I haven’t been to Ireland either, so know only that my daughter loved it. So much varied beauty in so small a geographical landmass. Plonk me down anywhere on mainland Britain and I would, I think, know which country and county I was in – all are so different.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

    1. Thank you so much, Margaret! – One of my dreams is going to both Scotland, UK and Ireland again. I was visiting all years and years ago. I do hope it is possible after all this corona thingy. Then I will be traveling again for sure.

  5. I love your painting something I wish I could do but there you are, Happy WOYWDW

Take care and stay well and safe,

  6. Always lovely to see another woyww using watercolour as part of her creative outlet. I do like the way you have built up the background and then the face. Enjoy your walk and stay safe.

  9. Your painting is just gorgeous, Mariane, and I love your beautiful doodle with your name, and the bright splash of colour. It’s really great! Thank you for visiting, and I’m glad you enjoyed my post and seeing our kitties. Turning the heel of a sock is extremely difficult compared with what I do! I just love working with colour. You are right, I have no dull moments and am never bored. There is just so much to do, and so many things I am interested in The lockdown hasn’t made any difference to that.

    Happy WOYWW,

  10. I love that water colour painting, it’s a difficult material to paint with don’t you think? I have been practicing myself from time to time but I prefer acrylics… you did a great job, also with all the other pages you show, lovely! Thanks for your visit to my blog yesterday, happy – belated – woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #20
