I am still in UFO’s mood – I might be that for a longer time than I expected.

I have to work fast when the ideas are popping up in my head, otherwise I forget it and then I will have new UFO’s. He he – I had some painted papers lying around and I really wanted to do something instead of putting them back into the UFO boxes.

This is how my desk is looking last night and you see the result of the two of the finished papers.

May 22nd 2020:

A card. Actually two cards, the one with the deer I add the flowers, which was in the stack from you have seen earlier. I am not sure what kind of a card it is going to be. I love the colours with glimmer (I believe it coloured from Linda’s Gang supplies) and I wasn’t sure what to do with the paper until I found out the size of it. So this is what I have done:

May 26th. 2020:

The view of my desk and the surroundings.

This piece of paper (A4) has been in the UFO box since Jan 2014. Finally, I was able to finish it as much as I felt it should be. I have been looking at it many times and then back in the box. The flowers (as I recall it) was made with a stencil and shining acrylic paint from Finnabair Mixed Media Place and another acrylic paint for the background. The face is drawn from my imagination.

Thank you for your visit

and a Happy WOYWW to you all!

  7. That made me smile. I do that all the time, think of a great idea then leave it till the following day and can’t remember what it was so yes better to get started on it straight away. Loving the portrait, beautiful face. Wishing you a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x19x

  8. Aw Mariane, your UFO painting is quite lovely! I’m so pleased you were ready to finish it! I am completely understanding the flow of ideas that makes you work quickly…I am the same, and they disappear very quickly if I cant get the idea from brain to hand!
Shopkeeper Gal is a lovely woman who runs my nearest and local craft store, we are so lucky to have her. I mention a lot of people when I’m blogging, so I give them nicknames so that they can remain anonymous if they want to!

  9. Well done, Mariane, completing such a stunning UFO! Well worth doing. I think the UFO challenge was a great one – I feel really inspired to get on with mine now.

    Happy belated WOYWW,
